Summer & Feet

Two different photo challenges that I’m entering [late] today. Better late than never I say! I was planning on getting out with Little Man today to take some photos, but it rained. So that was no good. I do still have some from last week that I took that fit with these themes, so here ya’ go.

The first challenge for this ridiculously hot Tuesday, is with Faith at Simplicity. I’m actually gearing up to take her Fall Photography E-Course, and I could not be more excited. Her theme for this week is summer. I knew when I read the theme that I had the perfect photo for this challenge. I took this of my cousins sweet little girl Gracie at a birthday party the other weekend. Her swimsuit was absolutely adorable and I couldn’t resist snapping at least one photo of her.

The other challenge today is a new one for me. I found "Mama and the Dudes” through random blog hopping and couldn’t resist playing along with her fun challenge this week. The theme is “Feet.” Totally random, but a super fun one to play with. Again, I knew of the perfect photo for this one. I was so excited! {By the way, you have to check out her blog…you will be amazed at what this lovely chick does with a point and shoot camera!!}

Head on over to check out these two fabulous blogs and view other entries from this weeks challenge. Oh…and on another note. I encourage all of you, children or no children, to head on over to Linkie Lueville’s blog as soon as you can and read her story about why it is so important to watermark your photos. In case you haven’t noticed both of these pictures have a new and different watermark on them. There are some scary, disgusting, and creepy people out there. Let’s make sure we protect our children and the children of those we photograph.
